New Winemaker for Larry Cherubino Wine

Larry Cherubino Wines has appointed Peter Dillon as their new Senior Winemaker; his role becoming effective as of January 7, 2013. Based in Dunsborough and having over  a decade of experience  in small and large scale winemaking, Dillon will now take on five ranges under  Larry Cherubino Wines; Ad Hoc, The yard, Cherubino, Pedestal and Laissez Faire.
Since 2008 he has worked as Senior Winemaker and Manager at Houghton’s Nannup Winery, as well as Winemaker and Brand Champion for Brookland Valley Wines. “After ten years with Houghton and Accolade, I’m looking forward to focusing my winemaking at a different level, both in terms of scale and style,” Dillon said. “One thing that really appeals to me about working with Larry is his uncompromising fruit-sourcing philosophy, with particular attention on the vineyards and grapes, so that only the highest quality fruit ends up in the winery.”
