The Beer and Brewer Awards is a two part awards presentation brought to you by O-I and recognises excellence and popularity for the best beer venues, brewers, beers, cider and whisky in Australia and New Zealand. This will be the third year of the awards. The first part of the awards is the Beer and Brewers People’s Choice Awards which are decided by the readers of Beer and Brewer Magazine. Voting has now closed and the winners will be announced at the Beer and Brewer Awards on October 25th in Sydney. They will be listed in the results booklet that will be on sale in leading newsagents, bookstores and liquor retailers across Australia and New Zealand. Those to be presented with an award on the night will be Best Beer Venue (Overall), Best Beer (Local) and Best Beer (Imported). The second part of the Awards is the Beer and Brewer magazine Awards which are decided by judges, to make sure the best beer venues, brewers and beers are recognised. Judges take into account the People’s Choice Awards results as well as nominations from the magazines writers, media, other awards and suppliers. Winners will be awarded at the presentation dinner for all 27 awards. Anyone is welcome to attend the dinner but there is limited space so make sure you get in fast!
