Brett McKinnon, Managing Director of Orlando Wines said, “We are very proud of this achievement which reflects the dedication we put into everything we do at Jacob’s Creek. Our True Character crusade is inherent in our people, and 7,000 award wins is testament to the fact that we have always stayed true to our heritage and passion for making great tasting wine.”
Jacob’s Creek won the Critics platinum medal, this medal is reserved for the wines that are nominated best in show. The Barossa Reserve Riesling 2012, pushed Jacob’s Creek over the line to this outstanding moment, this highlights the high quality the Jacob’s Creek wine has maintained since the brand was first launched in 1976.
The most highly awarded wine in Jacob’s Creeks portfolio over the past five years is the 2001 Johann Shiraz Cabernet, this particular wine has earned a total of 21 trophies / golds. This was the brands pinnacle wine and was named after the founder of the winery Johann Gramp.
Due to the rave reviews and the outstanding quality Jacob’s Creek is definately a brand to try.
