Four West Australian hotels and hospitality venues received national recognition at the 2012 Australian Hotels Association National Awards for Excellence held in Hobart recently.
The Breakwater, Pinctada Cable Beach Resort and Spa, Parmelia Hilton Perth, and the Hyde Park Hotel all won major awards for excellence.
AHA(WA) CEO, Bradley Woods, said the venues representing WA further reinforced that the State has some of the best hotels, bars, taverns and service professionals in Australia.
“West Australian hotel and hospitality venues operate to consistently high standards and have continued to develop the offer provided to guests and customers,” Mr Woods said.
The four venues won in the following categories:
Best Bar Presentation & Service (Metro) – The Breakwater
Best Marketed Hotel (Accommodation Division) – Pinctada Cable Beach Resort & Spa
Outstanding Achievement in Training – Parmelia Hilton Perth
Best Redeveloped Hotel (General Division) – The Hyde Park Hotel
