Challenger Institute of Technology has once again extended its hospitality to Prime Minister Julia Gillard on her recent whistle-stop tour of Perth.
Challenger Institute was hand-picked to provide the catering and service for Ms Gillard’s visit to South Fremantle Senior High School, which was recently named Australia’s first carbon-neutral high school.
Fourteen of Challenger’s apprentice chefs were tasked with creating a gourmet selection of handmade sweet and savoury canapés, including sushi, tempura chicken, chocolates and fruit jellies.
It’s the second time Challenger has been asked to cater for a high-profile event involving the Prime Minister, and it’s a testament of the high standards and quality in the hospitality training they do.
