The Swan Valley is home to the finest producers and imaginative artisans, all contributing to a wonderful melting pot of warmth, creativity and passion.
As well as wineries such as Houghtons, Sandalford and Olive Farm, you’ll find road side stalls bursting with locally grown goodies such as grapes, berries, asparagus, melons and citrus. There are also plenty of delicious home baked goods, extra virgin olive oils and specialty cheeses, pickles and preserves, chocolates and fudges, and nuts and nougats. Artisan producers are making complex gins and a full range of unique ciders and beers to round out the eating and drinking options in the Valley.
And artists are creating in the region as well. They’re painting and drawing and forging and casting, and bringing a creative spirit and energy to the whole community.
“The Swan Valley encompasses more than 40 world-class wineries, six breweries, two distilleries, three cideries, a meadery, myriad gourmet producers, bustling markets and vibrant artist studios,” said City of Swan Mayor, David Lucas.
“That’s more than 150 places to visit – to eat, drink, be inspired, relax and have fun.”
