Foster's Takeover Affects Aussie Beer Industry

The recent takeover of one of Australia’s biggest beer giants is expected to result in a very different Australian beer industry.
In short, SABMiller, who bought out Fosters is expected to market Australian brands elsewhere, including VB and Carlton.
This could mean that, in around 10 years we’ll be seeing a wider range of beers in our pubs such as Grolsch, Pilsner Urquell and Miller Draft.
The takeover also leaves Coopers as the largest remaining Australian-owned brewer.
