Coffee connoisseurs, get ready for a new player in WA’s coffee scene, as Toby’s Estate have started locally roasted right here in Perth. Toby’s Estate is one of Australia’s leading gourmet coffee suppliers, providing to over 450 different delis, cafes and restaurants around Australia.
The gourmet coffee supplier has decided to set up shop in the city, so fans of their delectable beans get a fresher a better quality product.
To launch the new (and very impressive) roaster, the team set up an intimate function for a few select guests. The launch also marked the release of Toby Smith’s (the owner of Toby’s Estates) new book ‘Coffee Trails’ . Toby spent 18 months travelling around the world in his quest to find out more about where coffee comes from He met local farmers in places like Ethiopia, Yemen and Papua New Guinea and explains the amount of effort it takes to provide you with your daily cup of joe.
It is a fantastic read filled with some stunning imagery, and all the guests got an exclusive, autographed copy hot of the press!
