Now in its fifth year, UnWined Western Australia is already shaping up as the best presentation ever with the boutique wine and food event meeting both exhibitor and visitor acclaim. With more wineries, upgraded food theatre, wine sessions, live entertainment and a picnic styled lawn area surrounded by quality street food vendors, it will be enjoyed even more by all those taking part.
The fact that the numbers are managed to enable exhibitors and visitors to talk about what they are experiencing ensures the promotion of local produce is maximised. This year will see the introduction of a “wine locker” where people can store purchases during the day and the inclusion of sales by the half glass as well as full glass providing a broader opportunity to taste wine.
UnWined WA is one of three annual shows staged by CMS Events which also includes Sunset Wine at the end of January and City Wine in June. The exhibitions provide a way to market for smaller producers and the chance for the public to enjoy some wines and produce they may not normally have access to. All events promote our quality Western Australian food and wine and with the food theatre program to be announced shortly, you can be assured it will also promote some of our best chefs.
