World Food Day Breakfast 2014

Wednesday 15 October – Foodbank WA from 7am to 9:15am had breakfast at the Botanical Room at Crown Perth, they continued to shine a light on hunger for World food Day 2014 with a lively debate featuring a panel of respected community leaders exploring the options that confront people when they cannot afford to feed their family.
“I would steal to feed my family” challenges you to consider what you would do if you could no longer afford to put food on the table. During this special event, Foodbank WA released two important documents: the Foodbank Hunger Report 2014 and their Annual Report 2014, highlighting the scale of hunger in WA and their work in providing food support to the community over the past 12 months.
