Screen Shot 2016-08-18 at 1.00.55 PMOn Monday 15 August 2016 Western Australia’s most outstanding accommodation hotels and resorts were acknowledged at the AHA Accommodation Awards for Excellence, held at Crown Perth.
AHA(WA) CEO, Bradley Woods, said “The AHA Accommodation Awards for Excellence highlight WA’s leading hotel venues, their staff, and their commitment to building the State’s reputation as a tourism destination. The awards recognise the hotel industry’s high service standards and celebrate the dedication of industry professionals, 500 guests were treated to a night of black and white elegance, a specially crafted menu and premium beverage offerings, while celebrating the successes of our flourishing industry.
“Hospitality never sleeps, the industry runs 24/7 and without our enthusiastic staff and hotel management, we wouldn’t have anywhere to eat, drink or sleep,” Mr Woods concluded.
CEO of Seashells Hospitality Group, Paul King, was inducted into the ‘Accommodation Industry Hall of Fame’ by Crown Perth Chief Operating Officer, Andrew Hill, and thanked for his contribution to the industry.
COMO The Treasury was a clear stand-out, winning five awards throughout the night including the Best Overall Accommodation Hotel Awards and the Deluxe Accommodation Award.
