Screen Shot 2016-08-03 at 11.24.42 AMIn its 10th year, the Perth Royal Beer Show has been dominated by home-grown West Australian commercial brewers. Menu’s own Scott Arnold-Eyers was one of 35 judges who had the difficult task of judging the record breaking field of 668 entries over the two-day event. Feral Brewery, Baskerville, outperformed the rest of the competition, taking home the coveted Sail and Anchor Trophy for the Best West Australian Brewery, as well as the Hopc0 Trophy for the Best Commercial Brewery and the Clancy’s Fish Pub Fremantle Trophy for Best Reduced Alcohol Draught for Runt. Other WA award winners included Cage Roads, Palmyra, Billabong Brewery, Myaree, and Elmar’s in the Valley, Henley Brook, who all took home a highly-sought after medal.
