AHA(WA) CEO, Bradley Woods, said “It’s great to see Western Australian Hospitality being recognised as amongst the best in the country. People are investing in Perth and Regional WA and they are being recognised for their efforts. North Perth’s ‘The Classroom’ was recognised as having ‘Australia’s Best Bar Presentation and Service’, an award that has been taken out ahead of the other states and territories and goes to show where Western Australian stands with our small bar offering.
“Crown Metropol Perth was the big winner for Western Australia, taking out two awards with their venue being recognised as ‘Australia’s Best Redeveloped Accommodation Hotel’ and the prestigious ‘Overall Accommodation Hotel of the Year’. These awards recognise Crown Perth’s significant contribution and investment in Western Australia’s tourism and hotel accommodation sector. We keep telling people that Western Australia’s tourism and hospitality offering is amongst the best in Australia. These awards are testament to that and there is certainly more to come. The AHA(WA) congratulates the national awards finalists and winners and we look forward to showcasing the best of WA hospitality at the AHA(WA) Awards for Excellence on 10 November 2014,” Mr Woods concluded.
