The public has spoken and the finalists for the “AHA WA’s Best Steak Sandwich” competition have been announced!
Dozens of pubs and bars have been judged by the public on their ability to make a great steak sandwich, and the results are fantastic.
The steak sandwich is an icon on any menu, because it pulls together home style cooking, locally grown produce and still allows for creativity.
“We’ve searched WA to find the best steak sandwich available at one of our great hospitality venues and we’re looking forward to seeing who’ll take out the title for 2016” said AHA(WA) CEO, Bradley Woods.
Five Perth and five Country WA finalists will now compete in the grand final cook-off, taking place at Hospitality Expo 2016 on Tuesday 10 May (Country WA) and Wednesday 11 May (Perth) at Crown Perth. The competition is proudly supported by James Squire, HiscoNFE and Tourism Western Australia.
