The iconic Court Hotel in Northbridge showcased its new summer menu to a group of food bloggers and foodie journalists last week. We enjoyed champagne on arrival, some delicious share platters, a selection of main courses and some yummy cocktails to finish. I still remember my first visit to The Court Hotel many, many moons ago when it was a dirty old rock’n’Roll pub – my, has it changed since then! These days it’s very clean and elegant, with a lovely open garden area out the back where we sat at a long table in dappled shade under a tree – and what a pleasant way to spend a leisurely Saturday afternoon. There was a big stage under a marquee at the other end of the beer garden – I must go back there when they have a band playing as it looks like a great venue.
After we had finished eating we moved across to the back bar for cocktails – a choice of Lollytini or Cookies’n’Cream.
