On Saturday 20th April, Celebrity Chef Miguel Maestre (direct from Channel 10’s The Living Room) will create a Spanish Fiesta in the courtyard of Settlers House in York, WA to launch the exciting food, wine and entertainment series and shine the spotlight on the historic town in the Avon Valley just outside Perth.
Maestre will be dishing up a Spanish food journey with tapas and paella, cooked alfresco in the courtyard, giving guests the chance to watch, learn and even participate. The  Fiesta features Spanish beverages, dessert and entertainment to help transport diners to their favourite part of Spain.

Miguel Maestre currently co-hosts TEN’s The Living Room. Maestre has also appeared on Masterchef, Junior Masterchef, Better Homes and Gardens and Boys Weekend alongside fellow chefs Gary Mehigan, Manu Feildel and Adrian Richardson.
“With a big personality and an infectious passion for food and cooking, Miguel is certainly a chef with a rising star,” says Josh Catalano of MasterChef.
Whilst taste buds tango with the sensational flavours, diners will be entertained by the sweet sounds of guitar duo Aires Linares, who will perform a live set in the courtyard.
The men of Aries Linares, Nathan Sinclair and Brandon Lewis, will play original compositions influenced by Spanish, Rock, Classical, Latin and modern Jazz music.
To celebrate the launch of the Settlers House York Weekender series, a special accommodation offer is available. Every customer who books accommodation at Settlers House for the Spanish Fiesta will receive an extra night stay that weekend (either Friday April 19 or Sunday April 21).
Settlers House York Weekenders will be hosted throughout the year. Upcoming events include a Gourmet Seafood Dinner with Josh Catalano (MasterChef Series 1), an Avon Valley Beef & Great Southern Whisky Night and an Italian Kitchen with Tobie Puttock (guest judge on My Kitchen Rules).
