The Savor Australia Restaurant & Catering HOSTPLUS Awards for Excellence have announced their finalists for this year – and the competition is looking tougher than ever!
137 finalists were acknowledged at the Finalists Announcement Cocktail Party held at Perth Concert Hall last month. With the actual Gala event scheduled to occur on the 20th of August.
RCA WA President Warwick Lavis said, “‘The Restaurant and Catering Awards have never been more important than they are in today’s market. As an industry from many diverse backgrounds, dreams and ideals, we have to have one goal to provide better food, service and hospitality than we did yesterday.”
All Finalists were awarded with a certificate acknowledging their status. The winner from each category at the Awards for Excellence will then go on to compete at the National Awards on Monday 29th October at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre.
Establishments that enter the Awards for Excellence are judged by a team of trained judges who anonymously visit the venues to determine winners. Scores are based on the entire dining experience of that one judge on a specific evening.
