Last week Perth’s Fraser’s Group of restaurant and function venues, established by Executive Chef Chris Taylor, opened its second steakhouse. BWG Steakhouse is headed up by Greg Farnan from The Old Brewery, who’s taken some of his trademark cuts of meat and handcrafted beers south of the river.
With an onsite dry ageing unit, a Sirman mechanical slicer that creates wafer thin charcuterie and a newly installed wood and coal fired grill in the kitchen, BWG Steakhouse promises a true steakhouse experience with the quality you’d expect from a group whose original steakhouse has been awarded the title of Best Steak Restaurant at the Restaurant & Catering WA Awards for Excellence six years running.
With all day dining from 11.30am seven days a week and a menu including everything from oysters to the Tomahawk that Greg made famous at The Old Brewery, there is something to suit everyone – whether you’re dropping in for a quick bite or looking for a more leisurely dining experience.
