After successfully winning a $30 000 grant from Festival Australia, the Margaret River Wine Industry Association are pleased to announce the launch of the inaugural Vintage Art Trail Event.
The event will be held in conjunction with the State’s premier wine celebration, The Margaret River Wine Festival.
Contemporary sculptures, glass art and paintings will be on show from local artists and artisans, with 9 pieces being created exclusively based on this year’s central theme – Essential Elements of Margaret River.
There will also be 5 community workshops held to add some authentic local works to the ‘Trail’
Free workshops will be held for children so they can enjoy what the Festival has to offer as well.
All 14 pieces will be launched at Palmer wines for the Vintage Festival on Saturday the 19th of March.
So for wine and art lovers alike, make sure you make it down to Margaret River for an event not to be missed.
