Sublime Spices, run by Seanne Davis, was awarded first place for three products – Zucchini Relish, Strawberry Tsea-nami Jam and Tempestuous Lava Chutney in the Mr Chilli Awards, an extremely competitive blind-tasted competition that annually recognises the top fiery food products around the country.
Seanne is a passionate home gardener and cook, and her delicious range of products developed from a desire to feed her family of seven healthy, tasty, home prepared food.
“Cooking for my family and friends is how I show them how much I care for them” she said.
“I’ve always loved experimenting with produce from my own garden and sharing the leftovers with neighbours, friends and family, so Sublime Spices was just a natural progression from that.”
“I have been creating Chilli Sauce recipes for the last five years, perfecting the right balance of flavour and heat to then share with family, friends and friends of friends for feedback.”
Since launching at the Kalamunda Village & Farmer Markets last year, Seanne has taken her chilli products to Margaret River Gourmet Escape, Beef & Beer Festival, Avocado Festival, Chilli Festival to name a few.
