The Australian Hotels Association (AHA) has welcomed a new State Government initiative that brings together the Central Institute of Technology and Le Cordon Bleu, the world’s premier hospitality training institution.
The CEO of AHA, Bradley Woods said, “This partnership between the Central Institute of Technology and Le Cordon Bleu is an important step in developing hospitality as a career of choice in Western Australia. Bringing Le Cordon Bleu’s 110 years of experience in culinary arts training to Perth is a new opportunity for anyone seeking a career in hospitality industry.”
Le Cordon Bleu has a history of teaching with academic staff that has had many years of leadership in hotels and hospitality management. “For individuals planning a move into the hospitality and tourism industries this partnership between Central Institute of Technology and Le Cordon Bleu will encourage individuals to strive for their best in order to achieve world class skills and experience,” said Mr. Woods.
The Central Institute of Technology and Le Cordon Bleu will offer two degrees; Bachelor of Business majoring in Events Management and Bachelor of Business majoring in Tourism Management which will commence in 2014.
