The Market Street Piazza is the result of a long-awaited vision to turn part of Market Street into an inviting pedestrian-friendly, community space leading onto the Cappuccino Strip.
Council endorsed an extended trial of Market Street Piazza in September 2015, with Mainroads WA approving the road closure request after community consultation. The extended trial will run from October 2016 until July 2017.
