aha-awardThe winners of the 2016 AHA-Aon Hospitality Awards for Excellence were announced during a gala ball hosted at Crown Perth on the 7th of November 2016.
Restaurants, hotels, pubs, bars, and tourism venues were recognized for their success and dedication to the industry. Individual employees were also honoured for their hard work and achievements.
AHA(WA) CEO, Bradley Woods, said the future of WA hospitality is bright thanks to the high level of passion demonstrated by the staff and leaders of the businesses named as finalists and winners tonight.
“The commitment that the owners, managers and staff have to WA’s hospitality industry, and their venues, shone through tonight,” said Mr Woods.
“WA’s hospitality venues provide world class food, beverages, service and atmosphere to locals and visitors from interstate and overseas.
“When it comes to quality, the bar is raised higher every year, and judging the awards is not easy.
“WA’s hotels, bars and dining venues are playing an ever increasing role in the state’s economy, and it’s important to recognize the hard work of the people who make it all happen,” said Mr Woods.
Forty-two awards were presented, recognizing the best of WA hospitality, including WA’s Best Small Bar, WA’s Best Regional Casual Pub Dining, WA’s Best Boutique Brewery and WA’s Best Restaurant.
