gascoyneThe much-anticipated annual Gascoyne Food Festival is back from August 6 through to August 19, showcasing the best of our state’s northern cuisine. With events in Dirk Hartog Island, Exmouth, Mount Augustus and Carnarvon, the showcase is a perfect excuse for a winter escape.
WA Food Ambassador Don Hancey will bring together a team of top chefs that includes Amy Hamilton (Liberte), George Cooper (Food by the Chef), Stuart Laws (Don Tapa), Matt Nebel (Hamptons City Beach), Danny Sanchez (The Flour Factory), Caroline Taylor (The Human Foodist), Sophie Budd (Taste Budds Cooking Studio), Jerome Durham (Heyder & Shears), Jochem Beranek (Perth Stadium), and David Gilmour (ESS Compass Group).
The festival’s line-up of events includes the family friendly BBQ on the Beach, a fine-dining Long Table Lunch, Surf & Turf on Sunrise Beach and food sampling at the Gascoyne Growers Markets.
