arrr_dragancaor4_lowres28 – 31 January 2016. The Fringe World Festival comes to Cannington in 2016. Held annually over thirty-one days, Perth’s Fringe is the world’s third biggest festival and this New Year CAHRS will join in supporting West Australian artists. Today the Fringe World Festival releases it’s Schedule of Events and Activities, and interested locals can drop in to the Cannington Exhibition Centre & Showgounds to pick up their copy.
Albany Highway is to be lined with the famous pink flags of Fringe as CECS will host the family friendly pirate production ‘Arrr is for Adventure!’ by local artist Michael Speranza (known by his alter-ego Pirateman). CECS own Liddelow Pavillion will fill with juggling, circus tricks, puppetry and mime in an exciting pirate voyage show for the whole family. Brimming with piratical antics, visual stunts and lessons for everyone, this showcase of skill explores the exciting treasure of adventures!
Nautical Nonsense and Sea Shanty Shenanigans will be had along the way with a treasure trove full of fun and good feelings! Arrr!” says Pirateman.
For more information on the production ‘Arrr is for Adventure’ and to book tickets visit www.fringeworld.com.au or call Box Office on 9227 6288.
