After extensive lobbying by R&CA since its initial announcement in July, the Federal Government has announced the criteria to access the JobKeeper wage subsidy has been eased. Businesses will only need to show that their GST turnover has fallen over one quarter, instead of multiple, to be eligible for the scheme’s extension. This means thousands more restaurants, cafes and caterers will be able to access the extended wage subsidy.
