dine drift diabetes OCTOBER 2Gold Plate Award finalist Drift Kitchen is playing host to its second diabetes research fundraiser after its debut event sold out.
The Scarborough eatery has revealed a new menu for the October 21 edition of its Dine for Diabetes lunch that runs from 12.30pm to 3pm.
The menu includes pork belly & mushroom tacos, crispy brussel sprouts, grazing boards with grilled double brie, and WA-made sugar free Denada icecream.
Proceeds from the event go to Diabetes Research WA which funds West Australian research into all forms of diabetes.
Drift owner Ryan Croll said the idea was inspired by his wife Anna’s 14 years of living with type 1 diabetes and their desire to help be part of the quest for a cure.
Tickets are $70 and a wine and beer pairing, from local breweries and wineries, will be available on the day for an additional $30.
