The biggest trend of 2017 is lighter style reds that are more ‘natural’ and easy to drink such as Pinot Noir and Grenache, you can even refrigerate them before you drink! Also in the red trends this year, we can’t go past a premium Shiraz or the black grape Tempranillo.
In the whites, Riesling has been up and coming for a while and 2017 has been no different, it is in high demand.
The next style for 2017 is sparkling wine and there are many to choose from. There’s Moscato to satisfy the sweet tooth’s and dry Prosecco for the sophisticated drinkers. And you can’t forget the Sparkling Shiraz for the red lovers!
