CEO Peter Cooper said that the Dinosaur Adventures attraction was a hit with families enjoying large crowds every day. “We wanted to bring entertainment to the Show that was new and exciting and a first for Perth,” he said.
Other attractions that struck a chord with showgoers were the monster trucks and the Show’s newest interactive exhibit Discover Dirt.
10,000 prizes including trophies, ribbons and certificates were awarded.
Around 150,000 people watched the IGA Fireworks Spectacular
There were two new Sideshow Alley rides this year; the Cliff Hanger and the Avenger.
There were over 300 showbags on sale ranging in price from $1 for Candy World to $280 for the Jean Pierre Sancho Macaron Showbag.
There were over 1000 entries in the IGA Perth Royal Show Cookery Competition.
There was 12 hours of non stop entertainment every day included in the price of entry.
