Auditions for the Canning Agricultural, Horticultural and Recreational Society’s 2015 Showtime Talent Quest were held last week, with 41 attendees from which 20 acts were picked to return for the semi-finals – to be held Saturday 10 October at Foxtel Aurora’s ‘The Couch’ Studio.
Finalists will hit the main stage at the 2015 Make Smoking History Canning Show, performing in the lead up to the Show’s closing support act and internationally toured ‘Fab Four’, alongside the weekend’s headline act ‘Absolute Kylie’.
Judge Paula Parore of X-Factor and the Voice, will be joined by Ani K and Jamaica’s Papa Flava, who’ll entertain Show patrons with a few special guest performances themselves! The winner of the 2015 Showtime Talent Quest Award will receive a recording session with Perth Sound Recording Studio, a 2 hour workshop in LIVE performance guidance at Chelsea J Music Academy and an interview on ‘The Couch’, plus a moment of silver screen spotlight.
