Natasha Nel at Pendolino Restaurant SydneyThe 2017 winner is 3rd Year Apprentice Chef Natasha Nel, 22 from Southern River. Natasha is currently in Sydney undertaking two work experience placements at the prestigious Pendolino Restaurant and Merivale’s Felix Bistro and Bar. With the attentive mentorship of a team of chefs in both venues,

Natasha is learning a range of new skills and undertaking a high level chef experience in the heart of Sydney. Natasha will soon complete her apprenticeship and take the experience gained from her time in Sydney to launch her career as a chef.

Natasha was one of many apprentices who submitted her entry for the competition on the latest food trends in Perth and the direction of the culinary scene over the next 12 months. Natasha’s entry was one of 4 selected for a panel interview and she was offered the prize of a 3 day stay with paid work experience with highly respected establishments from the hospitality scene in Sydney.
