WINNERS OF WA ACCOMMODATION HOTEL AWARDS 2015

AHA(WA) CEO, Bradley Woods, said “the AHA Accommodation Awards highlight the importance of the WA hotel sector and the vital role hotels and their staff play in building the State’s reputation as a premier tourism destination.
“600 guests were treated to a French-inspired signature menu from international chef Guillaume Brahimi who also addressed the crowd and discussed his love of WA tourism and hospitality.
“The awards recognise the high service standards and professionalism in WA and celebrate the dedication of industry professionals across a range of areas,” Mr Woods said.
“Crown Perth Chief Operating Officer, Andrew Hill, was inducted into the ‘Accommodation Hotel Industry Hall of Fame’ by Deputy Premier, the Hon Dr Kim Hames MLA, and was thanked for his contribution to the industry.
“This year’s awards mark an exciting new chapter for WA hotel accommodation with Hotel Alex being awarded ‘WA’s best new Accommodation Hotel’.
“Crown Perth was a big winner receiving five awards which included Crown Metropol winning the ‘Best Resort Style Accommodation’, ‘Best Deluxe Accommodation’ and ‘Best Overall Accommodation Hotel’ awards with Nobu Perth taking out the ‘Best Restaurant’ award”, Mr Woods concluded.
