Feral Brewing has been named the Champion Large Australian Brewery at the 2012 Australian International Beer Awards (AIBA) in Melbourne. The brewery was also awarded for the Best Scotch & Barley Wine and received gold for the Best International Pale Ale third year in a row. Nail Brewing Australia, who are also based in WA, won gold for their 2011 Clout Stout black malt beer. Over 250 breweries from 41 countries in the Asia Pacific region entered the awards this year, with 2012 also marking their 20th anniversary. Mash Brewing was the only other WA brewery to win gold for 2012.
