After a vibrant and successful inaugural event in 2012, Leederville Connect and the City of Vincent are again gearing up for the 2013 Light Up Leederville Carnival. The streets of Leederville will light up and come alive on Sunday 1 December. This free event will take over the Leederville town centre with free entertainment and attractions for all ages from 12pm to 8pm, with the ‘lighting up’ of new Christmas lights and decorations as night falls.
Food, music, fashion, art and children’s entertainment will line the Leederville precinct along Oxford St down to Vincent, and Newcastle up to and including Carr Street, expected to attract over 30,000 people.
