Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 November is the New Date

A TASTE OF CHITTERING 2021 originally scheduled for this weekend has been postponed to the new dates of Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 November 2021 due to the forecast of inclement weather conditions.

“As event organisers, we have a duty of care to our stallholders, suppliers, and patrons to deliver a safe and enjoyable event for all involved.  The rescheduled all-weekend event will now take place on Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 November 2021 and we look forward to welcoming our guests for a weekend of flavour and fun at Nesci Estate Wine Farm,” says Caroline James from Caroline James Events.

Over 5,000 were visitors were expected to experience the produce, wine and country lifestyle of the greater Chittering region at this family-friendly festival, just 45 minutes from Perth.

All tickets that have been booked for the festival will be carried over to the new November dates, or refunds can be made available. Ticket sales remain open for 20 and 21 November at www.atasteofchittering.com.au

Guests can taste their way through the market stalls and discover local produce, enjoy the region’s wine and beer, meet farmers, growers, and guest chefs, and indulge in the Chittering experience.  Festivities include live music, a range of pop-up dining options, and children’s attractions, all complemented by the fresh, country Chittering air and picturesque valley slopes during wildflower season.

Event Director Caroline James from Caroline James Events, says this year’s festival will shine a light on local producers.

“With a focus on local produce, this year’s event will offer guests a full range of countryside market stalls, produce tastings, interactive demonstrations, and curated picnic hampers,” she explains.

“This region is abundant in local citrus orchards and vineyards, and growers of the best quality fruit and vegetables. We are excited to showcase these producers and the diverse food community of Chittering.”

The soon-to-be-released program will include the return of the popular electric bike tours and beer brewing competition. The all-ages event is the perfect family day out with a Little Farmer’s Corner and roving entertainers.

Caroline James says the weekend festival is the perfect day trip to escape the city.

“A TASTE OF CHITTERING offers a taste of the country right on Perth’s doorstep. The green rolling hills and valleys of Chittering will make you feel like you have left the city behind altogether,” she said.

Commencing at 10:00 am each day, the fully licensed event runs to 5:00 pm on Saturday and 3:00 pm on Sunday.  Admission includes a free beer, wine or soft drink for just $18 + BF online or $20 at the gate (concession $12 + BF and $15 at the gate), with FREE ENTRY available for children (under 16) and local Chittering residents.

Ticket sales are now live at www.atasteofchittering.com.au; where you can find more program information, sign up for program updates, and register stall holder interest.
