The Challenger Institute of Technology training restaurant has won one of Western Australia’s most prestigious dining honours, the Gold Plate Award.
Quinlan’s training restaurant, known for its innovative menus, quality food and presentation won the coveted Restaurant within a Training Establishment Category.
Taking home this honour came as no surprise. Challenger Institute hospitality and human services director, Kerry Donovan, said the Quinlan’s Training Restaurant is highly regarded within the WA food industry and is known its meticulous training and services.
“This win is an affirmation of Challenger Institute’s commitment to providing an outstanding hospitality and tourism training facility.
“The award is in recognition of all the hard work Challenger staff put in to ensure our training is of a very high standard and industry related,” Ms Donovan said.
This is not the first win for Quinlan’s Training Restaurant as they have won this impressive award in 2004, 2007 and 2010.
Challenger Institute Hospitality and Tourism Program Manager, Markus Beuke was proud of this significant win and further congratulated his team.
“This is yet again a terrific effort of all our teaching staff, who have seen us take out this impressive four occasions – making Challenge Institute the first training organization in WA to win a Gold Plate Award four time,” Mr. Beuke said.
