Push 4 Moore a huge success, and that's just the beginning!

The Push 4 Moore fundraiser (held on July 9) was both a critical and commercial hit, raising just over $10,000 and entertaining a packed house at the Moore’s Building with live art shows and music.
It was an action-packed and highly creative evening – and the fun continues.
People are now invited to submit funky and innovative design ideas for the bike shelter for which the funds were raised. The Push 4 Moore team, having worked tirelessly to make the fundraiser happen in record time, wants the community that supported it to have a say in how the shelter should look and operate.
“It was heartening to see people – from our band of volunteers to paying punters – get behind the fundraiser with so much enthusiasm,” says Simon Naber, Moore & Moore Café owner and chief driver behind the project. “People clearly want to see Freo become more cycle-friendly and we can’t wait to see what they come up with by way of designs for the bike shelter.”
Creative, insightful and eco-conscious types are encouraged to submit concepts and sketches for the secure bike shelter, which is pegged for the back wall of the Metropolis nightclub. It’s hoped that it will be completed by summer, doing its bit to progress Fremantle’s cycle-friendly bent.
