As a highly valued partner of the Perth Royal Show we wanted you to be formally advised that after extensive discussion and consideration, the Royal Agricultural Society of WA (RASWA) has confirmed that the Perth Royal Show will go ahead in 2021.
After having to cancel the 2020 Perth Royal Show due to COVID-19, we are simply delighted to be back and recently announced that the 2021 Perth Royal Show will kick off on Saturday September 25 for 8 days until October 2, 2021.
The Royal Agricultural Society of WA would like to thank the State Government of Western Australia for strongly supporting our desire to stage the 2021 Perth Royal Show. We would also like to thank our many members and sponsors who are keen to support the Perth Royal Show in 2021.
“The past 15 months have been one of the toughest periods in RASWA’s esteemed history and having to cancel the 2020 Perth Royal Show was not taken lightly, but we are back for 2021 and we couldn’t be more pleased” stated RASWA and Perth Royal Show CEO Peter Cooper.
“To stage a Show the magnitude of the Perth Royal Show and all the people involved requires a mighty effort, and with only 3 months before opening day of the 2021 Show we need to all work together to make this a Show to remember, for all Western Australians” added Mr Cooper.
The 2021 Perth Royal Show will include all the magic that West Australians have come to expect from their Royal Show, including agriculture, animals, entertainment, a wonderful range of food & beverages, fireworks and of course the one and only real Showbag – “The Perth Royal Show bag.”
“The Perth Royal Show naturally impacts many people, including our sponsors, our staff, members, show operators and entertainers, exhibitors, volunteers, competitors, judges and the thousands of families and people who love the Show and look forward to attending each year” said RASWA President David Thomas. “I would like to thank all of you for staying with us as we worked our way through COVID-19 and the impact it has had on the events industry.” added Mr Thomas
