Starting with a bang on Friday night with a huge fireworks display, stage shows, roving entertainment, a variety of stalls, live onsite broadcast with HeritageFM 107.3 and a large sideshow with games, rides and show bags, this year the Canning Agricultural, Horticultural and Recreational Society celebrates the International Year of Sustainable Tourism for Development, and looks forward to the participation of the community, demonstrating their skills in cooking, gardening and various crafts. The Canning Agricultural Horticultural and Recreational Society Inc has moved into the 21st century by offering the ability to buy tickets online for the first time, making the 2017 Make Smoking History Canning Show even better.
CAHRS have partnered with the secure online ticketing services of Ticketebo for the delivery of show tickets. This will Screen Shot 2017-07-26 at 8.38.18 AMallow patrons to pre-purchase tickets giving families a better means of planning their trip to the show. There will be a small booking fee for the online tickets but the base prices will remain the same as they were for 2016.
Rebekah Ryan, Marketing & Events Manager said “The reason for Ticketebo is that it is proudly Australian, and passionate about supporting events and services which bring communities closer together. This blends well with CAHRS own philosophy. Also, payment processes and procedures are certified and fully encrypted. Customers credit card details are never stored by them, and all payments are processed through SecurePay (a division of Australia Post) and the Commonwealth Bank.”
All the Annual Canning Show festivities will return in 2017, including ZAP Circus and the opening night fireworks display at 9pm on Friday, sideshow alley, roving performers, free stage entertainment, tasty food vendors, a jam-packed farmland, free petting farm, roaming sheep, free pony rides and the outback production ‘Sydney or the Bush’.
