The State Government announced a three-year deal to sponsor Manjimup’s Truffle Kerfuffle Southern Food Festival.It highlights the Government’s commitment to securing world class tourism events in Western Australia.
Regional tourism events are an important attraction in drawing international and interstate visitors to Perth and Western Australia. The Manjimup Truffle event has huge international potential for culinary gourmets who are seeking some of the best produce and ingredients in the world.
The WA Tourism and hospitality industry is also encouraged by WA Labor’s commitment earlier this month that in Government they would invest $40 million per annum for five years for event tourism, including business events, domestic marketing and international marketing.
