In light of the upcoming festive season, please be aware of the upcoming public holidays and how they may impact your business and staff. Please click here to view a list of public holidays.
For those staff working on public holidays receiving the minimum Award rate, the following rates, as set out in the Restaurant Industry Award 2020, will apply:
- Full-time and part-time employees – % of minimum hourly rate: 225%
- Casual employees – Introductory to Level 2 – % of minimum hourly rate (inclusive of casual loading): 250%
- Casual employees – Level 3 to Level 6 – % of minimum hourly rate (inclusive of casual loading): 250%
