After a four-week site build and a crazy amount of anticipation in the lead up, Ice Cream Factory Summer Festival opened its doors for the season last Friday night.
Perth has proven it’s ready for the return of the Festival with tickets to The Presets, and XMAS Eve ft Hermitude (DJ set) already selling out, the Bar Pop NYE Party not far behind.
Friday night’s launch featured Cut Copy DJs, as well as a set from Melbourne songstress JOY., and local legends The Southern River Band for an epic Opening Night Party.
More than just music, Ice Cream Factory Summer Festival has prepared for the season with a brand new venue design featuring 12 unique zones, 12 bars, and 7 stages.
Highlights include a Riviera with remote control boat racing in the Corona Beach, The Pimm’s Pergola, The West Winds Gin Deck, The Bumble Selfie Laneway, and a giant silent disco by Jack Rabbit Slim’s.
This season’s menu is coming in hot with offerings from Lucy’s Love Shack pizza by the slice, Tiny’s, Mechanics’ Institute. Small Bar., and Shy John Brewery & Yum Cha all available at the Festival each night.
With 14 nights across three weeks there’s plenty of time to get down to enjoy Ice Cream Factory Summer Festival before it all wraps up with Pineapple Club January 1.
