HOSPITALITY AWARDS FOR EXCELLENCE FINALISTS REVEALED

The finalists for the 2019 AHA-Aon Hospitality Awards for Excellence have been announced, with an exceptionally high calibre of contenders reflecting the strength and quality of Western Australia’s hospitality industry.
 
Finalists from regional and metropolitan WA have been chosen across 41 award categories, with the calibre of this year’s nominations and finalists being exceptionally high.
 
AHA(WA) CEO, Bradley Woods, said the annual AHA Hospitality Awards for Excellence recognises venues and individuals across WA who make an outstanding contribution to the state’s hospitality industry.
 
“This year the calibre of finalists from WA’s leading accommodation hotels, pubs, bars and restaurants is simply outstanding,” Mr Woods said.
 
“WA’s hospitality industry continues to evolve, offering patrons incredible food and beverage offerings, the highest levels of service excellence and a variety of new and reimagined venues.”
 
“WA’s hospitality sector has faced challenges and the industry has responded by raising the bar. We have numerous world class venues across the state, driven by hospitality professionals who are constantly pushing the envelope and providing novel concepts and experiences to their customers.”
 
The 2019 AHA-Aon Hospitality Awards for Excellence will be presented at Crown Perth on Monday 11 November at the Byron Bay Premium Lager Gala Ball.
 
Award categories include: New Venue, Cocktail Bar, Casual Pub Dining, Boutique Brewery, Social Media Activity, Sporting Entertainment Venue, Head Chef, Food and Beverage Services, Venue Manager as well as a new Rising Star Award. WA’s Best Steak Sandwich will also be announced on the night.
