We’re disappointed to announce that Western Australia Gourmet Escape will not be taking place this year.
The event brings together top Australian and international culinary talent to showcase the very best WA ingredients and locations through the creation of extraordinary food and wine experiences. The health and safety of all people taking part in the event is our top priority. The COVID-19 situation is rapidly evolving on the east coast, which means many of our interstate talent, partners and stakeholders will be unable to travel to Western Australia, and sadly, we will not be able to deliver the unique Gourmet Escape experience our customers love and enjoy.
Since its inception in 2012, Gourmet Escape has brought nearly 150,000 visitors from Australia and around the world to experience the extraordinary food, wine, produce and landscape that Western Australia has to offer, contributing $70 million and in excess of 50,000 visitor nights to the local economy.
We look forward to working with Tourism Western Australia on the next edition of Gourmet Escape.
