Today, the FWC announced a 5.2% increase in the national minimum wage. This will affect full-time, part-time and casual employees that are covered by the national minimum wage and the award rates. For employers covered under the Restaurant Industry Award and the Hospitality Industry General Award, this will come into effect on 1 October 2022.
