beer awardsBeer connoisseur will once again celebrate the launch of the Perth Royal Beer Awards by sampling some of the State’s finest beers, brews and ales at the iconic Queen’s Tavern on June 23.
Hosted by the Queen’s Tavern’s Brewer’s Loft and the Royal Agricultural Society, the launch party will highlight Perth’s expanding craft beer industry and the extensive range of brews available will include eight featured draught beers, including an offering from 2016 medalists Billabong Breweries.
With $5 pints and $10 bites, the event is shaping up to be one not to be missed, with an inclusion of head brewers and industry influencers from the Royal Agriculture Society’s Beer Awards, WA Brewers Association, craft breweries and past medal winners on hand to mingle and divulge industry secrets.
Last year’s party saw a record attendance, so get in early as the drinks are poured on a first in best dressed basis, but if you do miss out the launch signals the beginning of the Royal Beer Awards which will be held at Claremont show grounds on the 25th and 26th of June, with the awards evening to wrap the week up set to take place on June 30th at Beaumonde on the Point, and for the first time in the awards history the public are invited to partake in the exhibitors tasting  of over 600 entries.
