Canning Show – record breaking sponsorship

2014’s record breaking Show Sponsorship has reached up and over that of $60,000. The Society is extremely overwhelmed and thankful for this year’s support and is proud to share it’s triumph with you.Numerous global studies prove that living in a rural area is less stressful than city- dwelling, which is why the Canning Agricultural Horticultural and Recreational Society (CAHRS) provides Western Australians with a taste of rural lifestyle through the popular Canning Show, held at the Cannington Exhibition Centre and Showgrounds every year with the aim to promote and develop agricultural and other cultural pursuits within the community.
To support the show and continue to provide contemporary venues and open spaces for the development of the community and the local economy, CAHRS is constantly perusing business opportunities to ensure they are financially viable and can provide local residents with a lively urban space, including a multi- million dollar upgrade of the Cannington Exhibition Centre and Showgrounds.

The 2014 Make Smoking History Canning Show will open on Halloween 5pm– 10pm Friday 31 October 2014 and play host to a Creepy Carnival of ghouls, goblins, tricks and treats with entertainment by the Twisted Vaudeville Circus ( Fringe World Award ), followed by a family fun day 9am– 10pm Saturday 1 November 2014 celebrating the International Year of the Family Farm.
