logo-foodbank-retina-new“Peace can only last where human rights are respected, where the people are fed, and where individuals and nations are free,” quotes Dalai Lama. According to Foodbank WA’s End Hunger Report in 2012, it is found that almost 70% of people in need of food in Western Australia are from low-income households. As part of the compassionate and growing community in WA, you can help them too.
Foodbank WA celebrated World Food Day on the 16th of October 2016 in honor of the date of the founding of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations in 1945. In association with it, Foodbank WA is welcoming donations to help someone in need.
A donation of $10 will allow them to provide enough food to feed someone for a week, which will make a huge difference to their lives.
