(17-18 April)
After a five-year hiatus, the beloved folk, World and roots festival is returning home to where it all began, in Fairbridge Village just outside of Pinjarra. Rekindling the spirit that made Fairbridge Festival such a cherished part of Western Australia’s cultural landscape, the new management committee is honouring the past and reimagining the future. After some challenging years, they’re rebuilding with care, passion and purpose ‒ smaller to start with, but rich in heart, music and meaning. Programme coordinator Jon Cope sums it up beautifully: “Fairbridge Festival’s return celebrates a dynamic fusion of folk roots and World music that bridges genres and generations, connecting cultures and hearts alike. With a vibrant children’s program in the historic Fairbridge Village, it’s a fabulous family experience for all ages ‒ young and young at heart.” Tickets via Trybooking.com
