The finals of the 2026 AHA & Little Creatures WA’s Best Steak Sandwich Competition and the 2026 AHA & Don Julio WA’s Best Cocktail Competition will be held at the AHA Hospitality Expo at Crown Perth this week, with an impressive line-up of judges, including Premier of Western Australia, The Honourable Roger Cook MLA, helping determine this year’s winners.
The regional steak sandwich cook-off and cocktail mix-off will take place tomorrow (Tuesday 30 June), with the Perth metro steak sandwich cook-off to follow on Wednesday (1 July).
The competitions will be judged by leading figures from government, media and hospitality, including the WA Premier as well as The Honourable Jackie Jarvis MLC, The Honourable Reece Whitby MLA, AHA (WA) CEO Bradley Woods AM, journalist Simon Collins and a range of respected industry representatives*.
Media are invited to attend and witness finalists compete live on the Expo main stage. Excellent vision and photography opportunities will be available, with interviews offered with winning chefs, mixologists and AHA (WA) CEO Bradley Woods AM.
